Infrastructure/Solutions Architect
We are looking for an innovative solutions architect to develop and implement a system architecture that meets the company's needs.
The solutions architect's responsibilities include gathering requirements and functional specifications, assessing the software systems currently in place to identify areas for improvement, and supervising development teams.
You must also be able to keep Open Vista regularly informed of all developments in system architecture projects. To succeed as a solutions architect, you must be able to integrate all updated specifications and requirements into the system architecture. An exceptional solutions architect must be able to explain complex problems to management in simple terms.
Solutions Architect Responsibilities
- ✔ Build and integrate information systems to meet Open Vista's needs.
- ✔ Assess the current system architecture and work with technical staff to recommend solutions for improvement.
- ✔ Resolve technical problems as they arise.
- ✔ Provide supervision and guidance to development teams.
- ✔ Continuously research current and emerging technologies and propose changes where needed.
- ✔ Inform various stakeholders about any issues with the technical solutions currently in place.
- ✔ Assess the business impact of certain technical choices.
- ✔ Provide stakeholders with updates on product development processes, costs and budgets.
Solutions Architect Requirements
- ✔ Bachelor's degree in information technology, software engineering, computer science or a related field.
- ✔ Proven experience in software engineering and architecture design.
- ✔ Previous project management experience is a plus.
- ✔ In-depth understanding of programming languages.
- ✔ Strong knowledge of various operating systems and databases.
- ✔ Effective communication skills.
- ✔ Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- ✔ Understanding of Odoo ERP implementation.
