US VPS Hosting on KVM and NVMe, Served From New York

Self-managed KVM virtual servers on NVMe SSD from $9.99/month, running on US soil in our New York datacentre. Root SSH, dedicated IPv4, DDoS protection, 99.9% SLA, deployed in minutes.

Two datacentres, and the one American buyers should use

OpenVista runs infrastructure in New York, United States and in Rabat, Morocco. For an American audience the choice is not close: New York is the location, and it is the fastest of our two for every US metro. Typical round-trip latency from the New York datacentre sits in single digits to the mid-teens from the Northeast corridor, and roughly 40–60 ms to the West Coast.

The Morocco location is useful to US companies for one specific reason: it puts a second copy of your data outside US legal reach and outside the reach of any single jurisdiction, while staying in a European-adjacent time zone for support. If that is not your requirement, stay in New York.

Five plans, priced in dollars, with no conversion games

Prices are quoted and invoiced in US dollars, which is the currency you already earn in. No exchange-rate surprises, no repricing at renewal, no promotional rate that triples in month two. Every plan is full KVM virtualisation with dedicated vCPU and RAM, NVMe SSD, root SSH, a dedicated IPv4 address and DDoS protection, with no minimum term.

What American teams use us for

  • Developers and small SaaS teams. A real KVM server with your own kernel for Docker, Kubernetes test rigs and a database that does not share IOPS with a stranger.
  • Agencies and freelancers. Client sites isolated per server, each with its own IP, managed with your own Ansible playbooks or images.
  • CI and build runners. Rebuild from a snapshot, use it for the sprint, destroy it. Staging environments that cost less than a developer's lunch.
  • Companies with staff in North Africa or Europe. One provider for US and Maghreb infrastructure, with support in English and French.

Beyond infrastructure, our digital and media services cover Odoo ERP implementation, technical SEO and cloud migration, delivered remotely against a written scope.

Billing, tax and support from the US side

  • Currency. Everything is billed in USD. Some US-issued cards still add a foreign transaction fee because the merchant is registered outside the United States; check with your issuer before you are surprised at checkout.
  • State tax. Whether your business owes state sales or use tax on hosting is a state-by-state question we are not qualified to answer. We give you a clean monthly invoice so your accountant can decide.
  • Payment. Major cards and international bank transfer. No ACH debit, no invoice net-30 terms on self-service plans.
  • Support coverage. Rabat runs five to six hours ahead of US Eastern. A morning ticket from New York is answered the same afternoon. Overnight US tickets are picked up as our morning starts, and the queue is monitored 24/7.
  • Data location. New York means US residency for your data. Rabat means data outside US jurisdiction. Both are documented in writing before you buy, not after.

Frequently asked questions from US buyers

Is the server physically in the United States?

Yes. Our New York datacentre is real US infrastructure on US soil, and we will confirm the location in writing for any compliance review.

Who owns and operates OpenVista?

OpenVista is a Moroccan company based in Rabat, with infrastructure in Morocco and New York. We are not a US-registered entity, and if your procurement requires one, we will tell you on the first call rather than waste your time.

Do I get true root access?

Yes. Root SSH on every plan, your own kernel through full KVM virtualisation, and the ability to reinstall from the console if you lock yourself out.

How fast is deployment?

Automated and typically complete within minutes of payment clearing, not days. You receive the credentials and connect.

Which distributions can I install?

More than fifteen, including Debian, Ubuntu, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, CentOS Stream and Alpine, plus custom ISOs on request.

Is there a contract or cancellation fee?

No. Monthly billing, no minimum term, no setup fee, and you can stop at the end of any month. Upgrades happen from the management console without a migration.

Still deciding? Describe the workload on our contact page and we will tell you which plan fits — including when the honest answer is that you need a bigger one than you asked about.
