Frequently asked questions
Where do these licenses come from?
Open Vista distributes these licenses through its supplier's official reseller program. Each license is named and activated on the server you provide.
What type of server is the license activated on?
On the server you designate: an Open Vista VPS, a dedicated server, or a machine hosted elsewhere. Some licenses distinguish virtual servers from dedicated servers — this is specified for each one.
Are the licenses billed monthly?
Yes, all licenses in the catalog are billed monthly in US dollars, with no minimum term.
What happens if I don't renew?
The license stops being valid at expiry and the software concerned reverts to restricted mode or stops working, depending on the publisher. Your data stays intact: reactivation is enough to restore service.
Are the logos and trademarks mentioned yours?
No. cPanel, Plesk, LiteSpeed, CloudLinux, WHMCS and the other brands mentioned belong to their respective publishers and are cited to identify the products distributed.
