Where your server sits, and what that costs in milliseconds

We run two datacentres: Rabat, Morocco and New York, USA. There is no London datacentre and we will not pretend there is. What we can do is tell you which of the two is the shorter path to your users, because for UK workloads it is not the obvious one.

For a UK audience we route you to Rabat. It is closer to London than New York, and it keeps your data outside UK, EU and US jurisdiction. If your workload needs single-digit milliseconds to London — latency-critical trading, real-time gaming, live voice — a UK host is the right answer and we are not it.

Agencies, development shops and Odoo

Most of our British buyers are not running one website. They are running fifteen, for clients who each want isolation and their own IP, on a host that does not resell somebody else's capacity. KVM with root SSH and your choice of 15+ distributions — Debian, Ubuntu, AlmaLinux, Rocky, Alpine and more — lets you standardise on your own images and deployment scripts.

Client hosting. One or two servers instead of fifteen shared accounts, isolated at kernel level.

Billing, VAT and paperwork

We invoice in US dollars, monthly, with no setup fee and no minimum contract. Pounds on this page are an indicative conversion only: the invoice and the card charge are in dollars, your bank sets the final rate, and some cards add a foreign transaction fee.

VAT. We are a Moroccan company and are not registered for UK VAT. VAT-registered businesses normally account for it under reverse charge; consumer treatment is one for your accountant.
Payment. Major cards and international bank transfer. No UK Direct Debit.
Invoicing. A monthly invoice in your company name that your bookkeeper can use as-is.
Data protection. Rabat is a restricted transfer under UK GDPR, so we supply an English-language data processing agreement and work with your DPO rather than around them.

Support during your business day, and what we are not

Morocco and the United Kingdom share a working day, all year, at most an hour apart. A ticket raised at ten on Tuesday morning is read at ten on Tuesday morning — not overnight, and not when California wakes up. Support runs 24/7 by ticket and email, in English and French.

We are not the cheapest host in Britain, and at the larger plans we are not close. We have no London datacentre, no UK company number, no ISO badge and no Cyber Essentials certificate, and we will not imply otherwise. If procurement requires a UK-registered, UK-accredited supplier, we are the wrong vendor and we will say so on the first call. What we do sell is a clean KVM server, an honest address, an engineer awake in your time zone and a price that does not change in month thirteen.

Frequently asked questions

Do you have a datacentre in the UK?

No. Rabat and New York only. Rabat is our recommendation for UK-facing workloads at roughly 40–60 ms from London; New York measures around 70–90 ms.

How is KVM different from the cheap "VPS" advertised elsewhere?

KVM gives you your own kernel, isolated resources, kernel-level firewall rules and nested virtualisation. Container products sold as VPS share a kernel and cannot do that.

Can I pay in pounds sterling?

No. Invoices are in US dollars. Pound figures here are indicative; your card issuer applies the rate on the day of the charge.

What happens if I outgrow my plan?

You upgrade from the management console and keep your data. There is no migration project and no contract to renegotiate, because there is no minimum term.

Is my data subject to UK or EU law in Rabat?

No. Data in Morocco is governed by Moroccan law, including Law 09-08 on personal data. Ask us for that in writing and we will send something you can forward to your lawyer.

Can you size a server for us?

Yes. Tell us what you are running and we will recommend a plan, including saying so when a smaller one is enough. Our contact page reaches a human in your working day.
