Web Developer
We are looking for a qualified web developer who will be responsible for developing and/or designing websites for our company and its clients.
The role
We are looking for a qualified web developer who will be responsible for developing and/or designing websites for our company. You will work alongside a team of developers to create, maintain, and update our clients’ websites.
To succeed in this role, you must be proficient in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, and have solid knowledge and experience in programming applications built with Odoo Studio.
Web Developer Responsibilities
Design and development
Design, develop, or maintain websites and software applications.
Languages and tools
Use scripting or authoring languages, management tools, content creation tools, applications, and digital media.
Team collaboration
Communicate with teams to resolve conflicts, prioritize needs, define content criteria, or choose solutions.
Website updates
Direct or perform website updates.
Test routines and schedules
Develop or validate test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces and cover all browser, device, and platform types.
Content and supervision
Write, edit, or design website content, and supervise team members who produce that content.
Technology watch
Stay informed about the latest web applications and programming practices through training, study, and participation in conferences, workshops, and groups.
File backup
Back up website files to local directories for recovery purposes.
Issue identification
Identify issues surfaced by customer feedback and testing, and fix them or forward them to the appropriate staff for resolution.
Code evaluation
Evaluate code to ensure it meets industry standards, is valid, properly structured, and compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.
User needs analysis
Determine user needs by analyzing technical requirements.
Web Developer Requirements
- ✔ A bachelor’s degree in web development or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- ✔ Solid knowledge and experience in application programming.
- ✔ Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and the Odoo Studio application.
- ✔ Proficiency in MySQL.
- ✔ Dedicated team player.
- ✔ Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- ✔ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- ✔ Knowledge of programming languages and technical terminology.
- ✔ Able to develop ideas and processes and express them clearly.
- ✔ Strong sense of autonomy and judgment.
- ✔ Able to solve complex problems.
- ✔ Understanding of Odoo ERP implementation.
