We are looking for a web designer responsible for creating superb websites for our clients, from creative design to producing visual elements that match their brand identity.
The role
We are looking for a web designer responsible for creating superb websites for our clients. Key duties include designing and implementing creative ideas for client websites, as well as producing visual elements that match our clients' brand identity.
You will work closely with our web development team to ensure correct, smooth implementation. To succeed in this role, you will need excellent visual design skills and proficiency in graphic design software such as Odoo ERP websites, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
Web Designer Responsibilities
Creative ideas
Develop creative ideas with clients.
Template testing and improvement
Test and improve the design of website templates.
Design guidelines and standards
Establish design guidelines, standards and best practices.
Website appearance
Maintain the appearance of websites by applying content standards.
Visuals and brand identity
Create website visuals and ensure they comply with clients’ brand identity.
Content management systems
Work with various content management systems.
User journeys and wireframes
Communicate design ideas using user journeys, process flows, sitemaps, and wireframes.
Feature integration
Integrate features into websites.
Sample pages
Design sample pages, including colors and fonts.
Design plans
Prepare design plans and present the website structure.
Web Designer Requirements
- ✔ A relevant degree in a related field.
- ✔ Proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other visual design tools such as Odoo websites.
- ✔ Proficiency in front-end web programming languages such as HTML and CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript.
- ✔ A good understanding of content management systems such as Odoo CMS.
- ✔ A good understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) principles.
- ✔ A good understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.
- ✔ Excellent visual design skills.
- ✔ Up-to-date experience with international web protocols, standards, and technologies.
- ✔ Creative and open to new ideas.
- ✔ Adaptable and eager to learn new techniques.
- ✔ Excellent communication skills.
- ✔ An understanding of Odoo ERP implementation.
